Position Description
A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide comprehensive nursing care within a high school setting. This role operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM, supporting the health and well-being of students during the academic year on a contract basis.

Duration: Contract for the current school year

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 plans
- Manage the general nursing needs of the student population, including care for sick students and health assessments
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies and procedures
- Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of student health needs and relevant nursing practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
- Proficient in maintaining confidential health records and adherence to privacy regulations
- Comfortable managing multiple students health needs throughout the school day
