Greetings to all -First, commendations to those who evaluated the bylaws; it is truly a demanding undertaking. I wish to provide my remarks regarding the bylaws as follows:
Section 3: Term of Office
a. The Vice-President (eliminated if president-elect system is selected), treasurer, and 3 members of board of directors shall be elected in the odd numbered years for a term of 2 years and shall serve until their successors have assumed office.
Feedback: Are you truly considering the elimination of the Vice-President position, or would you prefer to keep it as an optional role?

D. D. Three (3) members of the Board of Directors shall be elected in the even numbered years for a term of two (2) years and shall serve until their successors have assumed office.
Feedback: The even numbered years conflict with the wording in section a.

Section 4: Vacancies
A. President: The vice-president (eliminated if president-elect system is selected) immediately assumes office.
Feedback: if the vice - president position is eliminated, which role immediately takes over the presidential vacancy?

Section 1: Chapter Meetings
C. Notices of the monthly meetings will be sent to the membership through the chapter’s webpage in ORNurseLink: https://www.ornurselink.org/groups/home/141
Feedback: It is advised not to incorporate the name of the webpage, as this may change in the future, unless you amend your bylaws each time. You may use a general term liked current social media.
D. 3 members of the Board, 2 of whom are officers, constitutes a business quorum.
Feedback: In the context of a business meeting, does the general membership not count towards the quorum?
